We are looking for a bright, dynamic individual to work with colleagues in the Knowledge and Information Technology Services Branch to support the SAP HR module and Time Evaluation activities as well as the SAP SuccessFactors application. Under the guidance of the Senior Business Analyst, you will provide second-level support to clients (employees and colleagues in the Human Resources Branch) by interpreting leave reports, responding to Help Desk tickets and providing support for users of the SAP HR module and the SAP SuccessFactors product.  You will also assist in the development of new functionality by providing support in the execution of test cases and the development and delivery of training and/or information sessions.
 

Screening criteria

Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:

Education

Successful completion of two (2) years of post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management or another specialty relevant to the position.

Experience

Experience in supporting the Human Resources and/or Time Management modules of an ERP system*, including:

  • Monitoring Reports and logs
  • Preparing test cases and executing tests in support of new configuration or projects
  • Configuration of Time Schemas and/or Time Evaluation rules
  • Configuration of the HR module

Experience providing first- or second-level support to clients of the HR Module in an ERP system*

Experience developing training materials and documentation;

Experience in the delivery of training and/or information sessions using a variety of methods;

Experience in the use and/or administration of SAP SuccessFactors would be an asset.

*Preference may be given to SAP experience

Knowledge of Time Schemas and Collective Agreements;

Ability to analyse and prioritize technical and procedural problems;

Ability to orally communicate to clients, providing clear explanations and technical training;

Ability to prepare business requirements and end-user documentation in a clear and understandable manner;

Knowledge of the systems development lifecycle and testing techniques;

Ability to develop various test scenarios and execute quality assurance activities.

Relocation

Relocation assistance will be determined in accordance with NRC's directives.

Salary range

  • From $64,878 to $81,466 per annum.
  • An incumbent occupying a position within the CS Group is currently entitled to receive a terminable allowance of $176 per month.
